Android 11 will give the opportunity to capture long videos

Android 11 increase video recording limit

The default limit for holding video on the phone is going to increase in the Android 11 version.

If you want to make a video at 4K resolution on an Android phone, you can't create files larger than 4 GB.  As soon as the size of a video is 4 GB, the video recording starts in another file.  So many small files are created while capturing video in heavy resolution.  It is not possible to make a continuous video.  This problem can be avoided in the Android 11 version.

However, Google's camera app will not be available.  A third-party app open camera will be required to hold large size videos in one file.

The app has more than 1 lakh reviews on Google Play and the rating is 4.1.  In the future, other apps will also have the opportunity to hold large files.  But for now, only the open camera app is known.

Google unveiled the beta version of Android 11 last Thursday.  Currently, only Pixel users are able to use the update experimentally. Google may bring a stable version of the update later this year.
